Tomorrow Is Another Day

I love old movies. I love the clothes, the hats, the hair…..people used to know how to dress! During this break, I’ve been forcing my children to watch some of these cinematic masterpieces with me. They groan everytime I put on another black and white gem, so today we tried some color, “The Wizard of Oz” and “Gone With The Wind.” They’ve seen “The Wizard of Oz” before and only complain during the singing (but that’s probably my fault for all the times I made them sit through “Meet Me In St. Louis”), but boy oh boy, do they hate “Gone With The Wind”! I get it, the acting is cheesy, the portrayal of slavery is appalling, but frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn! Tomorrow I think I’ll try Casablanca….
